This message applies as well to the wealthy big wits in the society who waste millions in clubs at night to impress women. This year, big brands need to have a rethink to invest in startups greatly. It will also be one proposal off my desk. With two million Naira paid an average artiste to perform at a show, I could launch the SCHOOL HUB business idea that will improve the quality of education in Nigeria and provide jobs opportunities. “But you regret to inform me that you cannot sponsor it”, for sure I know someday you will regret not taking the opportunity to be a part of the business when it grows to become a top brand in Nigeria.įor every million spent on needless parties and shows, a business could grow out of it and the world will be a better place. If you could pay an artiste two million Naira (2,000,000) to mime his own track for few minutes on stage, the same amount that could get my business idea “SCHOOL HUB” launched an idea that will affect many other lives positively for years and open doors of employment to many others. I also regret to inform you that soonest we will not need to approach you anymore. I have a word for the “I regret to inform you we will not be able to sponsor you at this time”, though you recognize how wonderful the idea is. I only have words for the first class of entrepreneurs (to which I also belong) I say keep tirelessly digging for the ‘gold’ (fund) and while doing so, keep your ideas updated regularly on recent situations so it won’t be outdated by the time you eventually hit ‘gold’ to launch. The first is that the entrepreneur cannot secure adequate fund to begin the business or the entrepreneur is not ready (for whatever reasons) to launch out. Many wonderful business idea proposals are still lying on the desk of the entrepreneur for either of these two given reasons. at this point, I care less what reasons are given for the rejection. The reader/entrepreneur is elated at this point expecting a life-changing deal offer only to be stunned with the phrase “but we regret to inform you”…. The phrase is usually preceded by a story of how wonderful the idea in the proposal is and how viable it is. Many entrepreneurs who have at one time or the other submitted sponsorship proposals to big companies will be familiar with the phrase used for this article’s topic.
